ICM Volunteers completing service hours will benefit from:

Description

We are developing a team of Fun Meisters! These are volunteers who love kids, singing, dancing, using their imagination, playing and most of all, having fun! Fun Meisters will work with the public by facilitating play in the Museum and on the roof top exhibit area. Fun Meisters will lead children and families in games, music and activities in order to bring out the magic of childhood and help make Imagine Children's Museum a fun filled place.

Time
The position is available for at least 5 hours per week with a minimum 3-month commitment. Hours will be during weekdays, with the possibility of some evenings or weekends. This position is available all year especially in the summer. The position is unpaid. Imagine Children's Museum is willing to complete any necessary paperwork that allows the recipient to receive educational credit or volunteer service.

Description
The volunteer will work with the public by facilitating the use of the Museum's Art Studio, creating a "guest ready" atmosphere in the Art Studio, assisting in the preparation of art projects, and supporting guest artists.

Imagine Children's Museum is currently looking for a Marketing / Communications volunteer, this individual will be working closely with the Communications Department at the Museum. This position provides a great opportunity for an individual to utlilize his/her computer, organizational and marketing skills while gaining insight into the world of non-profit children's Museum.
Job Tasks
- Monitor inventory of marketing/advertisement materials – update inventory Excel spreadsheet
- Assist in organizing all files and printed materials for marketing/advertisement
- Website linking – Research and compile information found into an Excel document
- Data entry of Museum events and activities to event calendars on the internet
Qualifications
Volunteers should have good internet skills, familiarity with Word and Excel applications, and be well organized.

This position is for a minimum of 4 hours a week. Volunteers choice of hours between 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
