Join Imagine Children’s Museum for a summer of playful learning! Each week brings exciting STEAM projects, mesmerizing experiments, laughter and fun!

All Elementary Summer Camps are Full

 

  • Designed for kids ages 6-10 who have completed Kindergarten.
  • There will be a brief (10-minute) snack break built into each day. Campers must bring their own snack and eat only at designated times and places. Campers should also bring a water bottle.
  • Campers must be able to follow teacher instructions on COVID safety policies, which may include maintaining social distance and wearing a face mask. Summer policies will be based on up-to-date guidance from public health authorities.
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
  • Cost: Members: $195 per child per camp, Non-members: $225 per child per camp.

 

June 27-July 1: Space Is the Place / Camp is Full
3…2…1…We have liftoff! Enjoy an out-of-this-world week of space exploration. Build a Mars rover, experiment with orbits, act out the life of a star, and search for life on other planets.

July 11-15: Robot Rally Camp is Full
The robots are taking over! Learn how robots sense and react to the world around them, then write your own code to direct robots to complete their mission. Can robots talk to each other? Can they help us explore distant planets? Use your imagination to ponder what our robotic future might look like! This camp has an additional $35 materials fee. At the end of the camp, students will be able to take home their own Edison robot!

July 18-22: Marine Science Explorers / Camp is Full
From tidepools on the seashore to the deepest depths of the ocean, learn about the strange and wonderful ways that animals have adapted to survive in marine environments. Discover fish that make their own light, giant whales that feed on tiny organisms, and squid with a colorful escape plan!

August 1-5: Gross-Out Science / Camp is Full
From slimes and mold to bugs and scat, enjoy a week of disgusting science fun! Go on a bug hunt, meet some colorful microbes, and find out what an owl ate for lunch by unpacking its pellet.

August 8-12: Dino Days / Camp is Full
Join us for a week of prehistoric fun! Make your own dinosaur egg, create a fossil dig site and learn about the tools that paleontologists use to solve dinosaur mysteries. Campers will really “dig” learning about life in the distant past!

August 22-26: Marvelous Machines / Camp is Full
What clever contraptions and ingenious inventions can you create? Spend the week learning the engineering design process by building racecars, electronic musical instruments, and more.
