After Hours Birthday Parties
Host a birthday party or other private event at Imagine Children’s Museum! We are delighted to offer an unbeatable space to have fun and connect with guests of all ages.
We offer after hours events exclusively within the North (original) side of the Museum, which includes a range of hands-on exhibit areas and play spaces for audiences to explore and discover together.
- The package includes two (2) hours of exclusive use of the North (original) side of the Museum for up to a total of 75 party guests, including the host and host’s family
- The package includes private use of the North side’s main floor, Lower Level Kitchen and Commons Area, and Rooftop (available in spring and summer only)
The package does not include access to the Museum’s 2022 expansion, the Lodge, or classrooms
- After hours parties are available in two-hour slots between 5:30 and 9:00 p.m. (see below)
Time extensions are available for $200 per hour — if requested two weeks or more in advance. Time extensions are not available the night of the event
- Imagine t-shirt and birthday button for honoree
- Free future visit coupon for every child
- Invitation postcards, which can either be downloaded or picked up in the Museum. Click here to download.
- Food and beverages are allowed ONLY in lower-level Commons Area, and are NOT allowed on the exhibit floors or rooftop play area

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• With the exception of the 5:30 time slot, you may come in a few minutes early for setup
• Parties are nonrefundable; in the event of a cancellation, the party can be rescheduled within a calendar year
• For parties with more than 75 people, we charge half the Museum’s standard general admission fee for each additional guest; memberships cannot be used towards this fee
• We do not allow anything to be taped, tacked or hung on the walls or exhibits |
