Education Prep Volunteer
| Purpose | Contribute to a strong Education department by supporting the Museum’s various Education programs and activities. In this role, volunteers work largely behind the scenes to help our educators offer high-quality, hands-on learning experiences to children ages 1-12. |
| Key Responsibilities | Assist with preparation for the Education department’s enrichment programs, field trip enrichments, and Museum-on-the-Go programs. Examples of volunteer responsibilities could include, but are not limited to: cutting, laminating, hot gluing, fastening, or any number of other “crafty” tasks. It may also involve maintenance work such as sharpening pencils, checking supply inventories, washing, sanitizing, and vacuuming. |

| Supervision | This position reports to the Education Director and other members of the Education team. |
| Length of Appointment | An ongoing commitment of at least one day every two weeks is required. |
| Time Commitment | Each shift will be 2-3 hours and may be scheduled according to the volunteer’s availability. Shifts can be scheduled on any day of the week between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. |
