Little Science Lab is a FREE hands-on, interactive program for preschoolers and their caring adults. The program encourages children’s curiosity about the natural world and develops early science and math skills to get them ready for school.

Little Science Lab Weekly Explorations

Little Science Lab is held for 30-minute weekly sessions at libraries and other locations in Snohomish County:

  • Granite Falls Library: Mondays, 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. (starts September 30; no session on November 11)
  • Sultan Library: Wednesdays, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. (starts October 2; no session on December 25)
  • Everett Mall: Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. (starts September 25; no session on December 25)
  • Lynnwood Library: Wednesdays, 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. (starts October 2; no session on December 25)
  • Lake Stevens Library: Thursdays, 10:00 – 10:30 or 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. (starts September 26; no session on November 28)
  • Lakewood/Smokey Point Library: Thursdays, 10:00 – 10:30 or 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. (starts September 26; no session on November 28)
  • Monroe Library: Thursdays, 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. (starts October 3; no session on November 28)

Due to space constraints, most libraries require advance registration. Please visit the Events calendar on the Sno-Isle Libraries website or the Events Calendar on the Everett Public Library website to search for your library’s Little Science Lab events.


Little Science Lab Family Fun Events

NEW this year – Join us for Family Fun events at locations throughout Snohomish County! These events are drop-in: come in any time during the event and stay for as long as you’d like. Hands-on activities are designed for children ages 3-5 accompanied by adults. Older and younger siblings are also welcome to participate in the fun!
