Imagine is a self-guided facility for children and their adult caregivers. The Museum is designed to inspire joy, wonder and choice in learning through play, with hands-on, interactive exhibits designed especially for children aged 1–12. Our Seashore exhibit is specifically designed for children aged 3 and under.

No. Children must be supervised by an adult aged 18 or older at all times in the Museum. Adults are expected to stay with children in the same area on the same floor. Children must also be accompanied by adults when using the elevators.

Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. A maximum of two adults can be listed on each membership card. For the Two Fun and Grandparent Fun memberships, an adult named on the card must be present when children covered by the card visit the Museum. Photo ID may be required at check-in.

Generally, late weekday afternoons are the least crowded. However, this may not be the case during holiday breaks and other days when area schools are closed.

Imagine Children’s Museum participates in the Museums for All program. Cardholders of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Apple Health, CHIP, EBT, Foster Parent cards, Provider One, SNAP or WIC can receive admission at $3 per person for up to four (4) family members in the same household. For this discount, visitors must provide a valid photo ID AND a valid card. This discount does not apply to P-EBT cardholders. Active military can show their military ID to receive $1.00 off each general admission for up to four (4) family members in the same household.

The Museum is professionally cleaned every evening. Staff also clean and sanitize throughout the day. All of our restrooms are cleaned throughout the day by our restroom attendant.

Masks are optional for visitors at Imagine Children’s Museum. Families are free to decide whether to mask or not. We ask that these decisions are honored with compassion, respect and kindness, irrespective of your personal beliefs. Anyone who cannot do so will be asked to leave.

Imagine Children’s Museum is committed to providing an accessible and interactive experience for all. The Museum is equipped with elevators. Many of our exhibit areas are wheelchair accessible. Accessible parking spots are available in pre-pay lots as well as on the streets surrounding the Museum. See our Floor Map to learn more about the Museum’s layout.

Diverse learners may enjoy reading our social story about visiting the entire museum during regular hours. A limited number of sound-reducing earmuffs are available to borrow from the front desk. We also have sunglasses to borrow to reduce light stimulation. In addition, the Museum provides special access to the North side of the museum through our monthly Sensory Time program. Registration is required. Visitors who register for Sensory Time may also enjoy reading a social story specifically for this program.

Little Science Lab / Pequeño Laboratorio de Ciencias
Little Science Lab is a FREE hands-on, interactive program for preschoolers and their caring adults offered by Imagine educators at local libraries and is available in English and Spanish.

Food and beverages are allowed ONLY in our Third Floor Multipurpose Area, the home of our new Grab & Go Food Truck. Our Grab & Go Food Truck offers a range of yummy snacks and drinks for purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the Museum, as long as you consume them ONLY in our Third Floor Multipurpose Area. Food and beverages, including water, are NOT allowed on the exhibit floors or the rooftop play area. For your convenience, water fountains are provided on all floors of the Museum.

For the safety of our visitors, strollers are not permitted on the Museum floor. Please leave your stroller in your vehicle. A limited number of infant carriers and backpacks are available to borrow from the front desk, or you may bring your own.

Yes! Adventure toys is open to the general public whenever the Museum is open. The store cannot accept EBT cards.

Yes! We are accepting requests for an After Hours Birthday Party. Daytime birthday parties have been paused until further notice. Please call (425) 258-1006, Ext. 1025 or email Celebrations@ImagineCM.org for more information.
