Who is eligible?

Families in kinship care arrangements may attend. This includes families where temporary or permanent custody of children is with a relative (grandparents, aunt/uncle, etc.) other than the biological parents. It may involve formal, court-ordered custody or informal arrangements. If you are not sure if your family qualifies, we welcome you to attend anyway and talk to us at the event.

What is happening at the Open House?

• Playtime throughout the Museum
• Festive fun, including photos with Santa and skating in Sockefeller Center
• Special activities and gifts for kinship care and foster families
• Refreshments and snacks
