Imagine is launching a new program to support kinship care families!
Join us at the Museum this fall for FREE fun evening of playful learning for the whole family. Dinner is included.

Who is eligible?

Families in kinship care arrangements may attend. This includes families where temporary or permanent custody of children is with a relative (grandparents, aunt/uncle, etc.) other than the biological parents. It may involve formal, court-ordered custody or informal arrangements. If you are not sure if your family qualifies, we welcome you to attend anyway and talk to us at the event.

What is happening at the Open House?

  • Two hours of playtime in our North Side exhibit areas, including our Rooftop Adventure outdoor playground
  • Bonus facilitated activities provided by our Education team
  • Dinner for all participants
  • Additional information about participating in a new monthly evening discussion and support series for kinship care families starting this fall

Fill out the form on the website by the reservation deadline.
Reserve by September 15 for the September 16th event, October 13 for the October 14th event, and
