Little Science Lab is a FREE hands-on, interactive program for preschoolers and their caring adults. Through weekly explorations, the program encourages children’s curiosity about the natural world and develops early science and math skills to get them ready for school.

  • Discovering Shells
  • Thursday, April 4, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    In this Little Science Lab, children will practice their sorting and categorizing skills using a collection of seashells. They will also learn the function of shells.
  • Busy Buzzing Bees
  • Thursday, May 23, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    This Little Science Lab introduces children to the special features of honeybees and their important role in helping transfer pollen from one flower to another.
  • Magnificent Magnets
    Thursday, June 13, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    In this Little Science Lab, children will investigate and explore how magnets interact with common magnetic and nonmagnetic objects.
