Art Hangout

The Art Hangout is a dynamic, open-space studio where visitors can freely explore their creativity, engage with diverse artistic mediums, and discover their own unique forms of expression. Our goal is to provide an inspiring environment that fosters collaboration, self-discovery and artistic growth.
Through facilitation and individual exploration, visitors are introduced to artistic skills and techniques and allowed to experience a variety of artistic practices. Those who explore this space are encouraged through open-ended opportunities to explore and experiment at their own pace, creating a personalized and memorable learning experience.

September

September invites kids to dive into the world of color theory, texture, and mixed media! Each week offers hands-on activities that blend artistic expression with tactile creativity:

September 14 – 20
Colorful Collages – Create vibrant, texture-rich collages using fabric, paper, and magazine cutouts, plus a fun color wheel challenge.

September 21 – 27
Exploring Texture with Clay – Use air-dry clay and everyday objects to make unique textured impressions.

September 28 – October 4
Abstract Art – Experiment with bold brushstrokes, watercolor shapes, and drip painting.

All activities are included with Museum admission unless otherwise specified.
