Sensory Time

Sensory Time is a special Sunday program for families with children on the autism spectrum, children with sensory processing disorders, and children with other special needs. During Sensory Time, Imagine Children’s Museum provides these families exclusive access to the North side of the Museum between 9 and 11 a.m.

What to expect

Sensory Time offers families a safe, understanding environment during a quieter, less crowded time at the Museum. Families can explore, play, and enjoy the Museum with extra support available during the program.

Sensory supports available

Sound-reducing earmuffs, sunglasses, and sensory balls are available during Sensory Time.

A quieter visit

Play during a calmer, less crowded time designed with sensory needs in mind.
