Carpet Cleaning Volunteer

Purpose Support the Museum’s commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for all guests by ensuring that the Museum’s carpets are kept in good condition and clean every week.
Key Responsibilities Run the carpet dry cleaning system (HOST) on Mondays while the Museum is closed to the public.
Location Service is performed throughout the Museum.
Supervision This position reports to the Facilities Manager on duty.
Length of Assignment An ongoing commitment of at least two hours every month is required.
Time Commitment An ongoing commitment of each Monday is required.

Qualifications

 

 

Ability to take direction, seeking assistance when needed.

Ability to work independently.

Detail-oriented.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive movements, including bending, pushing, and pulling.

Committed to follow Museum safety guidelines.

Pass a Washington State Background Check.
