Creative Arts Special Events Volunteer
Purpose | Contribute to a strong Creative Arts Department by supporting its special events and special projects, particularly by interacting with visitors and staff, including Creative Arts and Visitor Services staff. |
Key Responsibilities | Assist with preparation of Creative Arts special events program materials and special projects. Examples of volunteer responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

Location | Imagine Children’s Museum, various locations throughout the Museum |
Supervision | This position reports to the Creative Arts Manager. |
Length of Assignment |
This can be done on an ad-hoc basis, occasionally as the volunteer is available. This assignment is great for large groups who want to volunteer together. |
Time Commitment | Flexible and seasonal. Preparation begins at least two weeks before each special event. On the day of the special event, we require a minimum of a 4-hour shift. |
Qualifications | Commitment to follow Museum safety guidelines; friendly and willing to engage with visitors; willingness to take direction and follow instructions; light physical activity may be required, including standing for up to 4 hours, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs |
