Fundraising Special Events Volunteer

Purpose Contribute to the success of Imagine’s fundraising events in support of its programs and services, including those serving disadvantaged communities.
Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation and execution of special events. Examples of volunteer responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting tables
  • Preparing food and drinks
  • Greeting guests
  • Cleaning up

Other responsibilities may be assigned based on volunteer’s interest, skills and availability.

Location Imagine Children’s Museum.
Supervision This position reports to the Development Director or Special Events Manager.
Length of Assignment As needed for fundraising events.
Time Commitment Preparation begins at least two weeks before each special event. On the day of the special event, we require a minimum of a 4-hour shift.

Qualifications

 

Commitment to follow Museum safety guidelines; friendly and willing to engage with guests; willingness to take direction and follow instructions; light physical activity may be required, including standing for up to 4 hours, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
